New investment welcomed into our region; Servify to open office in Whitby, Durham Region

India headquartered Servify (www.servify.tech), a consumer technology enterprise delivering ‘Consumer Happiness’ across the post-sales lifecycle for products that touch daily lives, has selected Whitby, in Durham Region as the location of its Canadian office.

A collaborative approach between The Regional Municipality of Durham’s Economic Development and Tourism Division, the Town of Whitby, 1855 Whitby and Toronto Global helped to bring this investment to the region.

“Durham Region is honoured to be selected for Servify’s regional office,” said John Henry, Regional Chair and Chief Executive Officer for The Regional Municipality of Durham. “We welcome the opportunity to showcase the many elements—from our infrastructure readiness and strong talent pool, to our innovative ecosystems—that continue to make Durham a smart choice for investors.”

Servify’s move to Whitby also highlights the fact that our community is a great place to live, play and do business.”

Durham Region’s integrated transportation network, great quality of life and talented tech workforce—fuelled by Durham College and Ontario Tech University—were factors that influenced the company’s choice to establish a regional office in Whitby.

The company’s Senior Director will be operating out of 1855, Whitby’s new technology accelerator. Servify has immediate plans to grow its sales base and North American market; creating specialized technology jobs locally and regionally.
